FallFest 2018
I got to plan out our fall concert again this year, and originally we were going to go with a small R&B artist. However, with just one week left before the show, he had to cancel due to a family emergency. I worked with our agent and the rest of my team, and we were able to get a confirmation from a new artist in under 24 hours. We ended up having Sammy Adams perform with Jeff LeBlanc opening. All things considered, the concert went pretty smoothly, and I was very impressed with the turnout we got. Usually our fall concert doesn’t have good attendance, the one other exception being our first FallFest during my freshman year in 2015 with X Ambassadors. Our goal is to get an up-and-coming artist, hoping that we get a big name act for a small name price. I’m not sure we quite did that with this year’s show, but we definitely had one of the highest turnouts ever.
